The Vegan Bus

The Vegan Bus is a project based in Northampton, Massachusetts. We have a full size school bus that runs on waste vegetable oil. It is a vehicle not only for transportation but more importantly for transformation.

Mission Statement:

The Vegan Bus is a group of activists, artists and speakers traveling on a full sized school bus running on waste vegetable oil. We use art, performance, and media to increase public awareness about the connections between dietary choice, personal health, cultural ethics, and globally sustainable ecology.

The Vegan Bus and Veganism:

• Humane Education Programs activists and performers visit schools and events to teach people how our interactions with animals have wide ranging effects throughout our society.

The Vegan Bus and Sustainable Energy:

• The Vegan Bus Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO) Conversion
• The Vegan Bus Solar Installation Project
